| Frank Meadows was born and raised in Montreal.
In 1955, he graduated from McGill University with a
degree in science and a desire to teach school.
This he did for a few years, and then returned to McGill
in 1959 to study theology. He graduated in
theology in 1962, and with a scholarship to assist him,
his wife, Joyce, and their infant son, he spent a year
in Strasbourg where he studied the history of the
Protestant Reformation. Frank received the Master
of Sacred Theology degree in Montreal in 1965.
Frank was ordained by the Montreal and Ottawa
Conference in June of 1962. He has had pastorates
in Ste. Therese (north of Montreal), Knox Church in
Saskatoon, Parkminster Church in Waterloo, Fairlawn
United Church in Toronto, and finally First-St. Andrew's
in London. In 1995, he was awarded an honorary
doctorate by the United Theological College in Montreal.
Frank retired (more or less) in July of 2000.
After retirement, Frank did supply ministry in
London, Ontario, and served as the secretary of
Middlesex Presbytery. |
