| Cynthia came to Fairlawn Avenue United Church in
2003 as minister of worship and adult education.
Cynthia received her Master of Divinity from Queen's
Theological College and was ordained by the Hamilton
Conference in May 1986.
She has served the United Church of Canada at
Sebright Pastoral Charge, Kitchener St., St. Paul's
Chippawa Pastoral Charge in Niagara Falls, and she
served for 11 years as minister to the St.
Luke's-on-the-hill United Church in Mississauga before
coming to Fairlawn Avenue.
Cynthia has also had wider church experience at both
the General Council level, Conference and Presbytery
levels working with candidates for the ministry.
As a student intern in 1985, she was overseas with
the United Church in Hong Kong and China. Cynthia
ministered at Fairlawn until 2009, moving to Applewood
United Church in Mississauga as minister of worship and
pastoral care. |
