The Boarding Homes Ministry Needs your Help!
Every second Thursday afternoon, a
team of Fairlawn Avenue congregants makes its way to a boarding home on Bathurst
Street loaded with food, pop, music and the spirit of friendship. This team has
been visiting regularly for over 6 years now, and has been greatly enriched by
the friendships that have blossomed with the residents of the home. Not everyone
visits each time; in fact, each team member probably attends 2 out of every 3
visits. Over the years we have laughed together, cried together and celebrated
special occasions with our friends on Bathurst Street.
Our team is always
interested in welcoming new members. If you would like to
