Bricks for Hope TCRC has been helping build better lives and a healthier community in Regent Park since 1964. As you may know, Regent Park is the oldest and largest public housing community in Canada and is undergoing a prolonged period of massive dislocation and transformation. Fairlawn Avenue United Church has long supported the work of the Centre – through annual ‘outreach’ donations, volunteers (including currently, the Chair of the Board, other Board members, and program volunteers) as well a major grant for the construction of 87 new affordable housing units. To learn more about the work of TCRC, see: www.tcrc.ca The Buy A Brick program is a great way to raise funds for TCRC while providing gifts that are ‘green’ and of enduring value. With minimal fundraising costs, this program raised over $10,000 last year. We need to reach the same target this year. When you ‘buy’ a brick for $50, you are making a $50 donation to TCRC for which you will receive a full tax receipt. In return you will receive a facsimile of a brick to give as a gift that says:
What a great way to make a meaningful contribution while at the same time giving a meaningful gift that truly embodies the spirit of giving. To make a
