What's happening this summer at
Fairlawn
Farewell Gathering for Stephen Iverson on July 18th
Following the church service on Sunday, July 18th, we will be saying goodbye
to Stephen Iverson who has been ministering with us for the past year. If you
are in the city that weekend, please come out and wish Stephen the best as he
moves to his next calling, as a minister in Southwestern Ontario.
Summer Barbeques
The dates are set! Mark your calendar and plan to come out to our
traditional summer barbeques for fellowship, fun and good food. The dates this
year are Wednesday July 21st and Tuesday August 24th.
Community Life
The deadline for articles for the fall issue of Community Life is Sunday
Sept. 5th.

Don't Miss The Sunday School's Annual Pancake Breakfast!
To get the new Sunday School season off to a rousing start, the CE Committee
and Sunday School will be hosting the annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Sept.
12th . Start time is 9:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. If you have children in
Sunday School, please remember to register them at the breakfast.
Volunteers for prep and clean-up would be most welcome. Please contact Sunday
School Administrator Susan Doran or any member of the CE Committee if you are
able to help out. Mark your calendars! We will see you there.
Tuesday Lunch Crowd
What a way to end the season! We enjoyed a leisurely luncheon in the Garden
of Heinz. This was our last opportunity to be together as a group with David
Lander.
Our next meeting is mid-September. Enjoy the summer, everyone.
