Bike to church
If you can't manage the entire route, consider loading your bike on a city bus's bike rack, and cycling the rest of the way. Bring your own bike lock and helmet.  Or, try walking or taking the transit to church.

Guided historic bike tour of the Fairlawn neighbourhood was a big success

  • Our aim (as well as learning history) was to give people an enjoyable outing on a bike -- especially when they may not have ridden for many years -- to encourage them to keep cycling and leave the car at home whenever possible.

  • The ice cream stop at "Robyn's Cookies" was certainly a treat.

  • See Gary's blog with info on local historical sites in The Story of a Community.
