The Intermediate Choir continues the music education begun with the Junior
Choir, and many of the Intermediates have ‘graduated’ from the Juniors!
The Intermediates rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 and cover a wider
range of music than the younger children. In fact, the Intermediates often join
the Senior Choir for special music such as Requiem (Faure) and Mass
for the Children (Rutter), and for Lessons and Carols. The Intermediates are
of middle- and high-school age, and do need to be able to read music. The choir
sings at several services a year, including the early service on Christmas Eve,
when the music is provided by the Juniors and Intermediates.
