Our Youth Would Like Your Support in the 30 Hour Famine

Our youth are collecting again for the World Vision 30 Hour Famine.  Please show them support by being a sponsor. See them at coffee hours in March or by visiting the youth website at www.fairlawnyouthgroup.com  (click the red arrow when you get there) and choose the person you wish to support.

Attention Youth
We are starting the youth group again this fall: 
  • Senior Youth Group - Thursday nights at 7:00 pm
  • Junior Youth Group - Friday nights at 7:00 pm

Note: There will be no youth groups on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23

Youth Worship Band
Any youth member is welcome! Come sing, play an instrument, clap in time -- anything goes. Practices are immediately after church on Sundays in the Youth Room. Performances are weekly in our 'Wide Open Worship'.

Confirmation Class
Confirmation class is held every other year. See details on the Confirmation page or contact the church office for details.
 

30hr Famine, March 27  
It will be a fun night packed with activities including glow in the dark dodge ball/ soccer an Earth Hour Walk, a special speaker and movies.  Register by March 23, 2010.  All pledge forms, waiver and the pledges are due the night of the Famine and only those who return their forms are allowed to participate in this amazing night.

The Dream, March 5|
Please note that there will be no Frantic for March.  I would like to encourage everyone to take in the FNC drama performance.  Information can be found on the FNC website.

 Several of our youth have volunteered for projects in other parts of the world and occasionally need financial assistance to go. For example, Shona Douthwaite went to Costa Rica last year.  We'll let you know of future endeavours, and if you would like to make a donation, please contact Dona Slater.
